Would you be surprised to know that some of the most successful women of our time struggle just like you?
Do you recognize that you are created with an intentional purpose? It can be easy to feel like life is just happening TO us and that we don't have any control over what direction it takes. But the truth is, we have been created with a specific God-sized purpose. And when we live our lives in alignment with our identity in Him, we can't help but feel qualified and confident.

And even once we know what it is, it can be challenging to live it out. That's why we need community. We need others who are on the same journey, who can encourage and support us as we figure out what our purpose is. We are right here with you, and we are cheering you on!

Meet Lisa
The diagnosis of an autoimmune disorder initially shattered LISA BURRIS BURNS’ ministry dreams as a vocalist and worship leader. Despite this, God opened opportunities for her journey and abilities to expand beyond what she ever anticipated for herself — to acting, stage performance, set design, and writing. As a vocal and performance coach with K.C. Superstar, a Kansas City-based competition likened to "American Idol," she is passionate about fine-tuning artists' creative expressions. Lisa thrives on the artistic process, especially everything yarn and crafty.

This avid Kansas City Chiefs fan lives with her husband, Randy, in Blue Springs, Missouri. The Burns have served in marriage and family ministry since 1988. They have six fantastic children, two amazing son-in-loves, and five adorable granddaughters.
Ladies, We Need Each Other
NOTE FROM AMBER: Lisa is more than a co-writer; she is a sister and what I call my P.I.P. (Person in Place). After years of keeping to myself, burying all my struggles, and just getting on with it, I remember the day I prayed that God would bring me that sister in my life with whom I could be completely authentic—dirt and all. What started as networking and helping each other with projects became an answer to my prayer. When Lisa stood by my side through my mental health crisis, I knew God had something bigger in mind for us!
I'm so excited to be able to walk into all that He has planned with a friend who sticks closer than a sister! Ladies, we all need that. I'm praying if you don't have a P.I.P., God will soon bring her into your life.
